Sherry Quimby, CNA, of Waldoboro was awarded the 2008 Excellence in Long Term Care Award at the Blaine House in Augusta on Sept. 24. Quimby, a Kno-Wal-Lin Home Health Aide, was recognized for providing extraordinary care, attention to consumer rights and leadership among her peers by the Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.
